  Negative 5 stars!!! Dr. Fruehan was highly unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, bossy, and loud. The office also has some unsanitary practices. I visited this office with my mom. Neither the nurse or Dr. Fruehan ever put on gloves. Not even while testing my mother's blood sugar which requires a prick to the finger to draw blood. The paper bed sheet was never changed on the patient room bed so my mom opted to sit in the guest chair while I stood up. The nurse never changed the disposable thermometer cover after taking my mom's temperature which led me to believe that it most likely wasn't changed prior to using the thermometer on my mom. When I inquired about the thermometer cover the nurse said they usually wipe it off with an alcohol pad but I didn't see that happen either. The pressure reading machine cord came apart and wasn't reconnected properly prior to taking my mom's pressure so the reading was a bit off. Dr. Fruehan had misdiagnosed my mom and wanted to perform a surgery on her but then got upset when my mom and I asked for a better understanding of his diagnosis. Dr. Fruehan then turned to leave and stood in the open doorway of the patient treatment room, which is only steps from the main waiting area, and spoke loudly about my mom's health issues which is a clear violation of the HIPAA Privacy Act. When my mom mentioned seeking a second opinion of her health issue he then turned around to the nurses station and loudly shouted for them to immediately discharge her from the clinic in front of EVERYONE! My mom was very embarrassed but she made the right decision to leave that office. He certainly will not have to worry about us returning there. I highly recommend seeking professional medical advice from someone somewhere else because you won't find it here with Dr. Freuhan. We went to a real Hospital for the second opinion and was given a totally different diagnosis than that of Dr. Freuhan. The doctors at the hospital had provided more clarity to us on my mother's health issue and we were told that she did not need any surgery. The whole process took about 45 minutes from walk in to walk out.

  My daughter is new to the area. She wasn't feeling good. So she found this urgent care which was near where she lived. She went there one time and the wait was long but she stayed. Then she went back a second time cause she wasn't feeling good. The wait was over 2 hours and hardly anyone there. The people behind the desk were rude beyond acceptable. Why should anyone put up with this.

  Although Dr. Fruehan has the bedside manner of House, he is the best diagnostician in Florida. He cares for his patients deeply and it comes across stern, but in reality it is concern (I've been a patient for more than a decade). He has multiple awards, degrees, and honors. Dr. Dorman is in the same caliber as Dr. Fruehan in his technique, research, and delivery of care (minus the House comparison). Dr. Patel is as good a doctor as the aforementioned: good bedside manner, knowledge of patient's problems, and caring attitude with each treatmenr. The nursing staff is excellent. They try their best to accomodate every patient as much as possible.
